FAQ
How safe is VIV?
Inherently, intravenous fluids are so safe that medical professionals readily give them to people in critical condition with compromised organ function. The clinical solution for dehydration or any malady which is potentially tied to dehydration IS intravenous fluid with varying content. That said, there are always going to be a few people with anxiety over the IV process and other people with rare sensitivities to plastics, sodium, and any other otherwise benign agent. Use caution, especially if you have a history of allergic responses.
Our approach is strictly science-based, with a safety-first motto. We only use safe and proven solutions. Unlike other IV service providers, we never have and never will include additives which simply don't belong in the blood. There are many supplements (e.g. - turmeric) which may make perfect sense to ingest orally, but show no benefit intravenously and are most likely risky. We do not use them. We will not use them.
Can viv "cure" parkinson's, lyme, cancer, autism, etc.?
It's unknown. We make no such claims. The question is too broad; and one individual's disease is often affected very differently than another person's, even with the exact same protocols.
Intravenous vitamin C does appear to have anti-tumor effects.
Glutathione is altered in autism and Parkinson's/neurodegenerative disorders . Thus, IV administration is sensible, but not yet proven as a cure.
Sodium and ascorbate are strictly antibacterial. Therefore, raising blood concentrations of both via intravenous fluids is sensible and methodologically sound for Lyme patients, but, again, not yet proven as curative.
There is evidence that some symptoms of different diseases are lessened with high doses of certain nutrients. Video footage of movement-disorder patients on glutathione drips abound; and they are provocative. Anecdotal claims about IV-dosed nutrients healing chronic diseases exist. Mechanistically, it makes sense to raise blood concentrations of antioxidants for any disorder and electrolytes for many disorders. Thus, there's no harm in exploring intelligently-applied IV fluids to assist. But, so far, there is no finality in the peer-reviewed literature.
Who Benefits from VIV?
In short, everyone who wants to optimize wellness. This technique has been used by competitors and competitive people for years. The effect of intravenous fluids and supplements is so profound that WADA finally banned their use (https://www.wada-ama.org/sites/default/files/resources/files/intravenous_infusions_v5.0_jan2018_en.pdf). Read their wording, and you'll find that they accept that there is an incredible advantage from just the administration of IV fluid without any other compound. That is, the effect of raising blood volume alone is helpful.
The stomach is a limiting filter. It's not to say that food, supplements or medications are inadequate. But we can only get so much past the gut. And in some people, this limitation actual perpetuates the unhealthy cycle. VIV breaks the cycle, because it goes directly to your tissues without delay.
Even mild dehydration limits recovery and performance. But rates of rehydration vary, depending on what someone can stomach. With VIV, digestive absorption rates are no longer part of the equation.
- The busy executive or professional may utilize VIV to raise efficiency and productivity.
- The athlete may utilize VIV to enhance recovery and train harder and more often.
- The person struggling with chronic inflammation, pain, and fatigue may bypass the gut and go straight to the source in delivering electrolytes, vitamin C, glutathione, and/or other compounds.
- The hungover student or hungover individual may use VIV to recover instantly and face the day with ample energy and vitality.
